COVID-19 Disclaimer

Golden Flow Lactation, LLC is taking every measure advised by the government and medical professionals to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and viricidal disinfectants before and after every appointment. However, this does not completely eliminate the risk of exposure or spread to yourself or those whom you are contact with.  There is ever-evolving information regarding Covid-19, and we will take all necessary precautions as recommended.

Human milk for the premature infant

Premature infants are a heterogeneous group with widely differing needs for nutrition and immune protection with risk of growth failure, developmental delays, necrotizing enterocolitis, and late-onset sepsis increasing with decreasing gestational age and birth weight

Exclusively Breastfeeding

The U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend exclusive breastfeeding for about 6 months, and then continuing breastfeeding while introducing complementary foods until your child is 12 months old or older. This provides your child with ideal nutrition and supports growth and development.
